    Vaccination

Remain one step ahead with vaccinations

Vaccine-preventable diseases like influenza and pneumococcal disease can cause serious complications. No one should suffer from these vaccine-preventable diseases and your best defence against them is to get vaccinated.

Ministry of Health’s Health Appointment System

Bethesda Medical is part of the Ministry of Health and Health Promotion Board’s Health Appointment System (HAS)

The HAS was setup by Open Government Products (OGP), a division in GovTech Singapore, in mid-August this year to make it easier for individuals, especially the elderly, to receive their vaccine. HAS directly connects patients to CHAS GP clinics (Community Health Assist Scheme General Practitioner clinics), to simplify and accelerate the vaccination process. Bethesda Medical is proud to be a part of this programme to provide subsidised vaccination for eligible citizens and to reduce their waiting time at the clinic through the system.

    How much will it cost?

    For eligible citizens:

    Pneumococcal vaccines

A dose of the vaccine will never cost more than:

    • $16 for Pioneer Generation seniors
    • $31 for Merdeka Generation seniors

You can use Medisave to pay for your vaccination.

    Flu vaccines

The cost of vaccination will not be more than:

    • $9 for Pioneer Generation seniors
    • $18 for Merdeka Generation/CHAS Blue/CHAS Orange seniors
    • $35 for CHAS Green/Non-CHAS seniors
    • $0 for children aged six months to below five years of age
